Had Not Done for 36 Years

We met Joan Boudreau a year and a half ago when we put our house in Atlanta on the market and planned to move to Cumming, Georgia. Initially, her professionalism and personality won us over, and we called her as soon as we were ready to show our house. Before meeting her, we had thought about trying to market the house ourselves. Joan proved to us immediately what a big mistake that would have been.

She worked tirelessly, using every marketing technique available to her to sell our property. Her knowledge in her field made everything so easy for us. If we had questions about anything, she could always supply us with answers. She also showed us every property available in the area in which we were looking. She even approached the owner of a house which had been taken off the market and convinced him to let us look. That turned out to be the house we finally bought.

From the startup date to the closing day, which was the same for both our house and the one we bought, Joan gave us the support to get through something we had not done in 36 years. We attended the closings with complete confidence that everything would be handled properly and professionally. We were not disappointed.

Later, if anything came up concerning taxes, etc., we felt free to call Joan for answers. She was always available to us. I later recommended Joan to my daughter knowing full well that she would give her the same guidance she gave us.  In our opinion, one could not find a better real estate agent to work for them and protect their interests. Professionalism and Results

Recently my wife and I made the decision to move to the Midwest to be closer to my ailing mother-in-law.  We knew the market was not ideal, but moving was something we needed to do.  We initially tried to sell the house ourselves, but it didn’t take long to realize that this method was not going to garner any results.  We then started asking friends if they had a real estate agent they could recommend.  Several of them gave us the name of Joan Boudreau.

We contacted Joan and from our very first meeting it was apparent we were working with someone not only with extensive real estate knowledge, but someone who also had extensive business knowledge.  Joan helped us price our house appropriately and more importantly laid out a thorough and as it turned out, effective marketing plan.  Based on the current market, she set the proper expectations for both the price we could expect to get as well as the time it would take to get a contract.  Her estimates on both were right in line with what the offer we received and the amount of time it took to receive the offer.  Throughout the sales and closing process Joan continually provided valuable advice and guidance.
